How to unblock Sling TV with ProtonVPN

Sling TV is an over-the-top Internet television service from Dish Network. It lets you watch your favorite cable channels — like ESPN, Comedy Central, AMC, or CNN — live. You can also purchase add-ons that focus on extra comedy, sports, or news channels.

How to watch Sling TV with ProtonVPN

Connect to any Plus server located in the United States. Plus servers have a “P” icon next to them.

Plus servers are available for Plus and Visionary Plan subscribers. For the fastest and most reliable connection, please connect to the server that is closest to your current location. To find the nearest servers to you, check the full list of our servers.

Step 1:

Get a ProtonVPN Plus or Visionary subscription

If you already have a Plus or Visionary ProtonVPN account, you can skip to step 2.

If you’re a new user, sign up for ProtonVPN.

If you have a Free or Basic plan, upgrade your account by logging in and selecting Plus or Visionary from your account Dashboard.

Step 2:

Buy a Sling TV subscription

If you already have a Sling TV subscription, you can skip to step 3

To watch Sling TV on our VPN, you’ll need a valid Sling TV subscription. Sling TV has two main plans, Sling Orange and Sling Blue, that are $20 a month for your first month. You can combine them into an Orange + Blue plan for $35 a month for your first month.

To help people deal with the coronavirus outbreak, Sling TV offering free streaming to their US viewers. The service, called Stay in and Sling, comes with a selection of older shows that are on-demand and a small selection of free live channels. You don’t even need to make an account to watch.

You can watch favorites like Hell’s Kitchen and 21 Jump Street, or your kids can watch Bob the Builder, for free!

Step 3:

Install our VPN app

You need to download the ProtonVPN app for your operating system. You can securely stream your favorite shows on Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.

Step 4:

Start watching Sling TV securely with ProtonVPN!

Connect to a Plus server in the US, log in to Sling TV, then kick back and relax.

If you experience issues watching Sling TV, please try the following:

– Restart the ProtonVPN app and start a new VPN connection
Clear your browser cache
– Use a different browser
– Restart your device
Clear your DNS cache
