Kayo Sports is an Australian online streaming service that offers live sports events and other sports-related content from Fox Sports, ESPN, and Racing.com. Sports covered include Australia rules football, cricket, rugby, NFL, and more.

Kayo Sports is part of the Streamotion(new window) network, and you can sign in using your account from any Streamotion service (which includes Kayo, Binge, and Flash). Subscription prices are based on how many screens you can use to view a Streamotion service at once, and come with a 7-day free trial.

This article explains how you can use Proton VPN to watch Kayo Sports.

How to watch Kayo Sports with Proton VPN from your browser

1. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to download and install Proton VPN for your device. 

2. To use streaming services via Proton VPN, you’ll need a Proton VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited plan. If you already have a Proton VPN Free plan, you can upgrade your account by logging in and selecting Plus from your account dashboard.

3. Log in to Proton VPN and connect to any server located in Australia.

4. Visit the Kayo Sports website at kayosports.com.au(new window) and either sign in with an existing Streamotion account or sign up for a new one.

Now choose a great live sport event or other sports-related content to watch securely with Proton VPN!

How to watch Kayo Sports with Proton VPN on Android, iPad, and iPhone

Kayo Sports apps are available for Android(new window) and iOS and iPadOS(new window), but you can only download them from the App or Play Stores in Australia

How to watch Kayo Sports with Proton VPN on Android TV

The Kayo Sports app for Android TV is available in all supported countries.

2. To use streaming services via Proton VPN, you’ll need a Proton VPN Plus or Proton Unlimited plan. If you already have a Proton VPN Free plan, you can upgrade your account by logging in and selecting Plus from your account dashboard.

3. Log in to Proton VPN and connect to any server located in Australia.

4. Install the Kayo Sports app on your Android TV device and either sign in with an existing Streamotion account or sign up for a new one.

Troubleshooting Kayo Sports streaming problems

If Kayo Sports doesn’t work after following the above steps, try the following troubleshooting options.

  1. Restart the Proton VPN app and start a new VPN connection.
  2. If you are accessing Kayo Sports via your browser, try clearing your browser cache(new window).
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Clear your DNS cache (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
