RDS (Réseau des sports) is Canada’s premier French-language sports streaming platform. In addition to hosting a wide range of content shared with its English-language sister service TSN (often with French commentary), RDS holds exclusive French-language rights to the Alouettes, Laval Rocket, and Formula 1.
To stream RDS, you can sign in using your TV provider credentials or subscribe directly to its online service. In this guide, we look at how to watch RDS with Proton VPN on:

How to watch RDS with Proton VPN from your browser
1. If you haven’t already, download and install Proton VPN for your device.
2. Sign in to Proton VPN and connect to any Canadian VPN server.

How to watch RDS with Proton VPN on a mobile device
RDS has apps for Android(new window), iOS and iPadOS(new window), although you may need to download them before leaving Canada.

Troubleshooting RDS streaming problems
If RDS doesn’t work after following the above steps, try the following troubleshooting options:
- Restart the Proton VPN app and start a new VPN connection.
- If you are accessing RDS via your browser, try clearing your browser cache.
- Restart your device.
- Clear your DNS cache (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
