If you get an error message saying No P2P traffic permitted on this server or P2P traffic is not permitted on this server while using Proton VPN for torrenting or file sharing, it means the server you’re connected to does not support P2P (peer-to-peer) file sharing.

To resolve this issue, open the Proton VPN app and connect to one of our dedicated P2P servers. P2P is only available on paid Proton VPN plans.
