Prior to joining the fight for greater privacy, Neal spent his formative career years writing software within the spheres of PR, social media, ad|mar-tech, online marketplaces, and fintech. Having had no previous experience whatsoever working in the domains of internet privacy and security, he joined Proton VPN in late 2023 so that he could immerse himself in a world of brand new challenges and problems to solve. So far he hasn't been disappointed.
