An illustration of ProtonVPN beta testers.

This article is primarily of historical interest only. Please see our How test-run Proton VPN early access apps support article for the latest information on how to try out our early access apps.

As a community-supported VPN service, we are here to serve you and we take your feedback very seriously. That’s why we always strive to let the community participate in product development and decide how Proton VPN should evolve. Whether it’s letting you choose where to put new VPN servers or inviting you to help improve new apps, we take your feedback seriously.

The beta program gives you early access to new servers, UI updates, stability improvements, and more. Whenever our developers release new versions of these applications to our team for internal testing, you will receive updates at the exact same time. You’ll be the first to get to try out new features, like OpenVPN on iOS or Smart Protocol for Android.

Below you can find instructions on how to join our beta program and see the latest developments from the Proton VPN team. The beta program is now open to all Proton VPN users, regardless of the plan you are on.
