An AUR package(nieuw venster) for Arch Linux is available, maintained by a dedicated community contributor. We’re working towards providing official support for Arch. In the meantime, you can install it and follow the setup instructions, but support may be limited. It should also work on most Arch-based distributions.

Note that we also offer the Proton VPN CLI, a command-line tool that runs from the Linux terminal.

To install the GUI app, open a terminal window and run:

pacman -S proton-vpn-gtk-app

Note that the Linux GUI app requires the gnome-keyring(nieuw venster) (it may also work with KDE’s KWallet, but this is not officially supported).

To use split tunneling (optional), systemd-resolved(nieuw venster) is also required.
