How to install Proton VPN on Arch Linux

Proton VPN offers a Linux GUI app (with a graphic user interface) and a Linux CLI (command-line tool). These are available on Arch Linux as a package(หน้าต่างใหม่) maintained by a dedicated community contributor. We’re working towards providing official support for Arch. In the meantime, support may be limited.

To install the GUI app, open a terminal window and run:

pacman -S proton-vpn-gtk-app

To install the CLI tool, open a terminal window and run:

pacman -S proton-vpn-cli

Note that Proton VPN requires:

• gnome-keyring(หน้าต่างใหม่) (it may also work with KDE’s KWallet, but this is not officially supported)
• NetworkManager(หน้าต่างใหม่)

To use split tunneling (currently available on the GUI app only), systemd-resolved(หน้าต่างใหม่) is also required.
