We want to thank everyone who participated in our first-ever servers poll. In the end, nearly 13,000 people voiced their preference. We have tallied the results and we’re already working to add new servers in the most popular countries.

Now that the results are in, we know where you want us to prioritize. Over the next few months, we’ll be investigating ways to get VPN servers in all these countries online, starting with the top vote winners. However, we will not be following the exact order for several reasons.

First, security is our top priority when we bring servers online. If we’re not confident we can keep your data secure, we will not take the risk. This brings us to Russia, a country that does not appear in the results below. While it received substantial support in the poll and comments section, it has not been included in these results while we investigate more deeply into whether or not we can feasibly offer a secure solution.

Second, in some countries, it is more difficult to obtain servers and the contract negotiations could take longer. This mean some of the higher voted options could take longer to implement.

Already, we have released new servers in Poland and the Czech Republic, and we hope to add at least 2 countries per month. We’ll keep you posted on our progress and announce all the new server locations as soon as they come online.
