Can I pay for the Proton VPN Plus special year-end offer using Bitcoin?
You can pay in Bitcoin to get the deal, but not directly from the landing page or your account dashboard.
- If you have never used our service before, you have to sign up first.
- Then log in at account.protonvpn.com and go to Settings → Dashboard → Credits → Add credits → Select a method → Bitcoin and add a sufficient amount for the promotion you’d like to get.
- Once you see the credits on your account in the Dashboard, click the Special Offer button at the top and select the desired offer.
Will I keep the discount when my plan runs out? What price will my plan renew at?
If you take advantage of the Proton VPN Plus special year-end offer, your plan will renew at the end of the period you selected at our standard discounted rate.
The renewal prices are as follows:
- Proton VPN Plus for one month renews after 1 month at a standard monthly price of €10.
- Proton VPN Plus for two years renews after 2 years at a standard discounted two-year price of €159 (33% discount).
- Proton VPN Plus for one year renews after 1 year at a standard discounted annual price of €96 (20% discount).
If I upgrade to the Proton VPN Plus plan with the Proton VPN Plus special year-end offer, what happens to my existing paid plan?
If you already have a paid Proton VPN Basic plan and you take advantage of this promotion, the new plan will replace your existing plan. We will credit you the unused balance of your existing subscription as a proration credit(new window). Thus, you don’t lose the money you paid for your existing plan.
How are the discounts for this Proton VPN Plus special year-end offer calculated?
The discount percentages are based on the standard monthly €10 pricing for a Proton VPN Plus plan.
