Our Secure Core architecture is now available in 12 new countries, expanding its coverage to 23 countries in total.

Our Secure Core architecture routes user traffic from your device through one of our hardened Secure Core servers and then to an exit server located in your desired country. We have taken extra precautions to ensure that our Secure Core servers have never been tampered with and installed them in high-security data centers located in countries with strong data privacy laws. That way, even if an advanced network attack allows an adversary to monitor traffic at one of the exit servers, they will only be able to trace your traffic back to the edge of our Secure Core network, protecting your device’s true IP address.

This advanced security will now be available with IP addresses from 12 new countries, letting more of our users access our most advanced online protection.

The new Secure Core exit servers are located in:

Austria
Brazil
Czech Republic
Denmark
Finland
India
Ireland
Norway
Poland
South Africa
South Korea
Singapore

Existing Secure Core servers are:

Australia
Canada
France
Germany
Hong Kong
Italy
Japan
Netherlands
Spain
United Kingdom
United States

These new countries will appear in your Proton VPN app as options when you activate the Secure Core feature. No matter where you are, Proton VPN has a Secure Core server nearby to give your online data maximum protection.

Best regards,
The Proton VPN Team
